This is an highly interesting any very intelligent movie, which can become a Science-Fiction-Classic like 'Blade Runner' or 'The fifth element'.
In the year 2054 Detective John Anderton (Tom Cruise) is working for the Pre-Crime-Investigation, where they already arrest peoplem, before they even did the crime. This is possible, by the three pre-cox, which can see/predict the future. But actually they are making failures, which John one day has to discover, because he seems himself killing somebody, which he tries to hide, but is getting haunted himself. And from now on you will discover, why the system is not so good and what actually is wrong with this Pre-Crime System.
Steven Spielberg is really a Story-Teller, because he made this movie like a fairy-tale with a lot of reality. He is using special effects, but in a way, where they fit excellent into the movie and are not too much. He is showing, how out this good cop a bad cop is being made by public work! He also created a very special atmosphere for this movie by using special filters and light.
Also Tom Cruise is playing an excellent role here, especially when is using the several predicted images and trying to make an complete picture/story out of it. When he is moving the pictures, this looks like he is composing a song, until the final note fits.
Every moment and part of the movie is so fantastic, that you wait for each moment and never feel any 'length'.
You gotta see this movie to believe it. (p1)
